My husband and I have been members of Capital Christian Center since2002. Since then we have both been baptized and our son was dedicated as well. In May 2005, six days after our son was born, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After hearing the devastating news, we came from the doctor's office and immediately drove to Capital to seek guidance and prayer.

 

As I was going through 4 months of treatments, I constantly prayed and asked God for healing. I never blamed Him for my cancer, but felt it in my heart there was a reason why God was putting me through this situation. Through my recovery process, God gave me a vision to start an online breast cancer store and to start a non-profit organization to help women battling with breast cancer. God has placed so many wonderful people in our lives that helped us with the healing process, many of which we would have never met if we did not have God and Capital Christian Center as a family. We are thankful for our family, our church, and our Lord. Thank you Jesus.
