Rachel Werking

Over eighteen years ago an invitation was extended to me to come and be a part of Woman of the Word, and I have been enjoying it ever since.  Many changes have occurred since then.  My family has grown from four to nine and hopefully still counting, including a new son, two wonderful sons-in-law, and two precious grandchildren. This is my immediate family and how truly blessed I feel to have each and every one of them. But I also consider my church family, particularly those I've come to know and love in WOW, as no less of a blessing in my life.

Many of us who have had the privilege of being a part of WOW for this long have seen and experienced many changes here as well.  We have been blessed with incredibly gifted, loving, and God-fearing leaders.  Learning from them and watching women grow closer to our Lord as we pursue Him has brought me to a place in my life where I can appreciate each and every challenge in greater focus. I know there will always be more challenges and difficulties ahead, but as women, we come along side other woman to pray and to partner with each other. We can be women that will not only find strength in each other but who will also stand the testing of our faith in these end times.
