Knowing God’s Love through Discipleship
Part of Discovering your Destiny is growing in God’s love for our life. This happens through a biblical process called discipleship. Though each person is responsible to grow daily, Capital’s Discipleship team makes this process easier. Our desire is to help you understand the practical value of the Bible.

Personal Growth Classes are offered on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, at various times and locations. For more information on the classes below, please call 856-5683 x 224.

CCC 101-401 Class Series Are you interested in church membership? Wanting to grow in your faith and learn how to read the Bible? Interested in discovering your spiritual gifts? Then consider attending our 101-401 class series. Each class meets on Wednesday nights. (Only the 101 class is required for membership.) All classes meet in the Chapel at 7pm on Wednesdays and will be dismissed to the Parlour after worship (approximately 7:30pm). Here's the schedule:

101 ● 3-week class required for church membership: focuses on the Vision of CCC, our purposes, core values, and membership. Date TBD.

201 ● 3-week class: how to grow in your faith; how to read the Bible; practical tips for prayer; giving principles; connecting in fellowship. Dates TBD.

301 ● 3-week class: how to find your place to serve; discover your gifts and determine how you can get involved in helping others. Dates TBD.

401 ● 3-week class: how to share the Good News of your faith with others. Dates TBD.

Sunday Mornings

Adult Bible Class 9:30am
Location: Fireside Room (new location during remodel)
This class is designed for those who are 50 years and older. Various topics from the Bible are studied, along with a great fellowship and donut time.

B.A.S.I.C. Born Again Singles in Christ 11:15am
Location: Room A-24
If you are single and 35 and up, join us for connection, fun fellowship and Bible study. We may be just what you're looking for!

Bible Doctrine 9:30am
Location: Room S-11
Come join this exciting Bible study class and get rooted in the Word of God.  Various studies are held throughout the year.

Marriage By the Book 11:15am

This class is for those who need to work on a rough marriage or fine tune a good marriage. 

Prayer Ministry 8 & 9:30am
Location: Room S-1
Prayer is a vital part of our church.  Each Sunday morning come and pray with us.

Strengthening Your Marriage 11am
Location: Fireside Room (new location and time during remodel)
This couple’s class is for those who want to grow in their marriage and personal life. The study rotation focuses on marriage one quarter and a personal growth study the following quarter, with donuts and fellowship each week.  Come join us, as we are “Better Together!”

Threshold Young and Married 9:30am
Location: Room A-24
If you’re married and in your 20’s and 30’s then THRESHOLD may be what you and your spouse need. Learn how to love your spouse as God intended, while building friendships with other couples.

Identic: College/ Professional Young Adults 7pm

Identic is for college and professional young adults (18-35). Identic is all about authentic, relevant, and genuine relationships with God and each other. We're focused on builing a community that empowers voices (like yours) to change the lives of people around you. Discipleship

Active Adults
Active Adults Ministry brings people 50 years and better together for various outreach projects, activities, and fellowship.  Active Adults are those who are: still working, approaching retirement, retired, single, or married. The Adult Bible Class is every Sunday at 9:30am in the Fireside Room (new location during remodel). To see the Active Adults Calendar of Events for 2007, click here. {PDF attachment of calendar} 

Baby Dedication
The cutest little people in our congregation are dedicated to the Lord on two special Sundays: Mother’s Day and the Sunday before Christmas, both during the 11:15am service.   Parents must attend an orientation class at 11:15am on the Sunday prior to each dedication. 

Capital Bible College
In addition to Bible and life-application classes on Sundays and Wednesdays, the church operates a 2-year Bible College designed to equip Christians with the knowledge and tools to find fulfillment through serving. This program is valuable for everyone whether they desire to serve as a volunteer or as a full time professional minister. The program leads to a diploma or degree that qualifies the graduate for ministerial ordination.  There is also a Christian counseling certificate program for those who want to serve in church counseling and recovery programs. Capital Counseling Center
Capital Counseling Center is a part of Capital Christian Center's ministry to the community. It is our goal to help people recognize, understand, and solve problems in accordance with the Word of God. The staff are trained and experienced therapists who offer a safe, confidential place to discuss personal issues. Visit www.capitalcounselingcenter.com.

 Celebrate Recovery
Every Friday evening we celebrate lives being transformed and freed from life-controlling hurts, habits and hang-ups.   Hope and inspiration fills lives through testimonies, teachings and small groups.  Real change takes place in step groups by working through the twelve steps in which the healing power of Jesus is prioritized.

Join us every Friday at 6pm for a very reasonably priced dinner, 7pm for our big meeting, 8pm for our small, open-share groups, and 9pm for the Solid Rock Café.  Childcare is provided for a small fee.  :: more details click here ::

Communion
Communion is served once a month during all three morning services, with special communions at the Good Friday, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve services. 

Divorce Recovery
Broken relationships are painful and sometimes overwhelming.  Find a place of healing, hope and support as you walk through these difficult times.  You don’t have to walk this road alone.  A safe place is here for you to grow, even in the midst of your struggles, through interactive teaching and small group connections. 

Griefshare Ministry
If you have experienced the death of a close loved one, we can help.  Through interactive video presentations and small group discussion and interaction you can find healing and comfort. Griefshare meets for 13 weeks, twice a year.

Marriage Ministry
Marriages can be saved.  Whether you require a simple tune-up or a major overhaul, there are many resources at Capital Christian Center to help.  Small groups, Sunday morning classes, mentoring with experienced couples, pastoral counseling, and professional counselors –  we are pro-marriage and willing to help.

Premarital Preparation
Experienced mentors can help you prepare for marriage, which is one of the most important decisions in life.  Completion of a four-month premarital preparation course is required before you get married at Capital Christian Center. 

Visitation
A pastor or visitation team partner is available to visit those who are in the hospital, homebound, or in a care facility.

Weddings
We want to help your wedding be a once in a lifetime event.  We do require a time of premarital preparation that lasts about four months.   Our wedding coordinator is here to guide you through the details of planning a wedding at Capital Christian Center.
